Leavitt Meadow to Tower Peak

A 3-day 34.6 mile backpacking trip from Leavitt Meadow to Piute Meadows to Tower Lake and then up to Tower Peak before turning around and going back out. Total elevation gain/loss was a little over 6000' with all the ups and downs. Note that I started at the pack station (parked in the parking lot across from the pack station) and not at the campground or the backpackers parking lot. The way I went was a little shorter than the from the standard trailhead, but might not be possible when the Walker River is running strong because you have to ford the river.
